Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson, born 7 July 1968, is an American actress. She is most well-known for her role in CBS as Linda Reagan and NBC as Alex Taylor.
Childhood and early life
Carlson was born in Elmhurst in DuPage County Illinoisnear Chicago She was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois, the daughter of the parents of schoolteachers, Barbara Jane (Hultman) and Robert Eugene Carlson. Carlson is of Swedish origin, with roots from Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: College and early careers
She was first introduced to Hollywood by her role as a background actor in the movie Lucas starring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. After that, she followed her older sister Betsy to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
